Uploading a WordPress plugin very easy to do by following these step by step instructions.
Log on to your WordPress dashboard and then choose Plugins » Add New » Upload Plugin. if you had the plugin file then insert there and then click on Install Now button.
Remember, The plugin file compressed in .zip format. Here you’ll see I’m uploading my backup plugin “UpdraftPlus.zip“.
Once the installation completed, On the next screen it will ask you Activate Plugin or “Return to Plugin Installer” select activate button for activating the plugin.
