To tell which WordPress theme a site is using, first, you need to visit WPTD (WordPress website Theme Detector) website then enter the domain name that you want to find.
WPTD first checks if the domain name you entered using WordPress or not. If the site using WP, then WPTD checks which WordPress theme and plugins used by a site.
Once the process is done, it’ll display all site results. the WPTD shows you the detailed information about that WordPress site.
The WPTD also tells whether the theme is premium or free. The online tool also provides links to purchase/download the WordPress themes and plugins.
Method 2. Manually Detect WordPress theme and plugin Used by a Website
Sometimes the online tools can’t find which WordPress theme a site is using. Because the website owner changes the name of the theme.
However, you’ll be able to find using that WordPress theme using manually.
Each WordPress theme contains styles.css file. it contains the theme name, version author, provider, URL, and more contains in the style.css file.
To locate that .css file, first, you need to visit the website which you want to check. Once the site is loaded on your web browser Right Click anywhere on the web page, it displays a menu and then selects View page source.
Once you click on View page source, it will open a new window tab on your web browser. All the content of the tab you see it’s the source code of that site.
Now you need to find the following line in source code. Press the Ctrl + F on your computer keyboard now simply find Style.css. Now it’s highlighting one or three links check those all links to find that WordPress theme details. The link looks like this;

Once you find the Style.css link and then open the link, Typically, it displays like this;

The above details will show all theme details with the author’s name, version, and URL of the theme used by the website.
You’ll also find using the Inspect method. Right-click anywhere on the webpage it will display menu and then choose Inspect option.
When you select the Inspect option it will open the developer tool window on your internet browser. Select Sources on the top of the developer menu.
Now navigate to wp-content -> themes -> select style.css file. The information will be shown on the right side of the developer window. Now you can see the theme name, URI, author, version, etc.
